Chapter Eighty-Eight

In one of the distant worlds visited by the explorers, there lived a race known as the Shadowed. These beings dwelled in eternal darkness, avoiding light, which caused them pain. For generations, they believed light was their enemy, and so they lived in isolation.

When a group of explorers from the new civilization arrived in this world, they were met with hostility. The Shadowed would not listen, nor would they trust. But the explorers did not respond with force. Instead, they built a Circle of Love at the heart of the shadow world and began to light a soft glow—gentle and warm, not painful.

One of the Shadowed, a being named Mora, dared to come closer. She asked, “Why have you come here? What do you want from us?”

Aira, one of the explorers, replied, “We want nothing. We came to show you that light and darkness can coexist. That love doesn’t divide—it unites.”

Mora began returning to the Circle every day. She listened to stories about light and shadow, about a love that embraces all. Slowly, she began to trust. She brought others with her, and soon, the Circle became a place where light and darkness could meet without fear.

Years passed, and the world of shadows became part of the new civilization. The Shadowed no longer feared the light, and the light had learned to honor their darkness. They became a living symbol of how love can heal even the deepest wounds.

When word of this reached the leaders of the civilization, they sent envoys to restore peace. Among them was Lina, a descendant of Adam and Eve, who believed that even war could be overcome by love.

Lina came not with weapons, but with a story. She spoke of all that Adam and Eve had endured, of how they found love between light and darkness, between chaos and order.

One of the warring leaders, an elder named Corrin, said, “Your stories are beautiful, but they won’t solve our problems. We’ve lost too much to forgive.”
