С еще более широкой и исчерпывающей точки зрения вся жизнь Вселенной предстает перед нами как борьба между множественностью и единством, как усилие и стремление к единению. У нас возникает чувство, что Дух — то высшее начало, которое действует в мире — представляется ли оно нам божественным существом или космической энергией, — привносит в этот мир порядок, гармонию и красоту, связывая всех живущих узами любви (некоторые жаждут этого, но большинство пока еще слепо этому противится), и, таким образом, медленно и безмолвно, но вместе с тем мощно и неотвратимо — помогает нам всем достичь состояния Высшего Синтеза.
