Вынесение на всеобщее обозрение скрытых практик может оказаться этически проблематичным, поскольку не в наших силах проконтролировать, что произойдет с собранной нами информацией после того, как она будет обнародована. В то же время, если власти городов наподобие Детройта со вниманием отнесутся к реалиям, стоящим за тем, что изображено в этой книге, то скрытые практики могут стать моделью для новых договоренностей о том, как должны выглядеть доступ к собственности и контроль над ней в соответствии с более конструктивными и ориентированными на социальную справедливость принципами.
