Случайности в истории культуры. Совпадения и неудачи, открывшие путь к шедеврам - Святослав Алексеевич Иванов

Прежде чем написать «Выкуп головы», Эгиль Скаллагримссон написал множество стихов; прежде чем случайно придумать рок-звучание, группа Айка Тёрнера долго и интенсивно выступала; прежде чем снять «Челюсти», Стивен Спилберг 15 лет снимал короткометражки и эпизоды сериалов – и так далее. Я собрал здесь истории о том, как совпадения и неудачи открывали путь к шедеврам – но постарался почти не утомлять читателей историями о том, какие этому предшествовали пробы, сомнения, неправильные повороты и скомканные черновики.

Так что если требуется какой-то вывод, то пусть амбивалентный, в двух частях:

1. Чтобы создать нечто стоящее, нужна удача.

2. Но одной удачи никогда не бывает достаточно.
